The Founder

Alex grew up realising that there is so much more to life than money. However, he also experienced the fact that the lack of resources can make life very tricky indeed. Alex grew up in a single-parent, only-child family, with his Mum suffering from mental illness. He was very fortunate to be put through private school by a distant relative who had passed away and left money for this, however circumstances at home were very different compared to most of the other children at school. There were many years where Alex and his Mum couldn’t afford the heating on, or to have a car, and Alex had to work in the holidays and weekends from the age of 12 to support his Mum. Now, this is a long way from a sob story as there are people who have it far, far, far tougher around the world. However, it is important to give you the background and to stress that success in property investment is not just for those who are born with bundles of spare cash – anyone can do it.

I’m sure that many of you reading this have had your own difficulties. Alex wouldn’t change a thing as his experiences have made him who he is today. His challenges taught Alex was that in order to have the time, freedom and choice he desired, as well as making a difference to others, he needed to build his own rock-solid asset-base which would pay him whether he worked or not. Asset-income is the only way to build long-term wealth and property is the go-to investment vehicle around the world for a reason.

Whilst at University, Alex started to look at ways to generate income without needing to work full time or for someone else. Despite his own doubts and concerns about his lack of money, age and inexperience, Alex invested heavily in his property and financial education by utilising his means tested student grant, taking out credit cards, and using his savings from his first business. He purchased his first property whilst still at university and the income it produced (£800 net profit each month) meant didn’t need to get a graduate job as a result. Over the next few years he implemented and honed (this is a fancy way of saying made lots of mistakes and learnt from them) this knowledge through purchasing and developing 30 properties. He refined his model again and again to get The Property Coaching Academy trainings to the structured, easy to follow processes that they are today.

Alex loves sharing his journey to inspire others to realise that irrespective of their global location, where they are in life, or the cash they have in the bank, they can become financially free much quicker than they might imagine and that it can be very, very simple.

Alex still continues to grow the portfolio but the income generated from Alex’s property portfolio allows him to concentrate on what he enjoys most: travelling around the world, and teaching others what has made such a massive difference to his life and to so many previous course attendees..
